Linen is a herbaceous plant, primarily composed of two substances: a woody interior and a fibrous exterior, from which the textile fiber is extracted for fabric production.

​

Being an exclusively artisanal activity, the production and transformation process of linen is extremely complex.

Teresa Frade, 82 years old, dedicated her entire life to linen. Today, we benefit from her final works as a tribute to her and to her dream.

By purchasing the "Mantas" (blankets, rugs, etc.), you will help other women and children around the world achieve some of their own dreams – this is the mission of the "Femmes d’Europe" Association.
